Smoke bold → Option B (dialed soft)

Exploratory walls and objects for Studio review. Original goal: push how bold the Maple / Hearth hybrid language can go before committing production rewrites.

Decision (2026-10-20) — Option B locked

Dial back, then promote. Full smoke-bold was useful as a ceiling. Production elevated language should keep the warm room atmosphere but pull object craft one step quieter:

Flat Hero stays as a legacy/simple set. Dual first-class catalogs (Option C) are rejected.

Blank room materials and catalog objects are in the app:

Studio keeps the research comps and dressed reference walls for comparison.

Next

1. ~~Redraw assets/objects/smoke-bold/* toward the Option B target~~ (done) 2. Promote as the default Hero / hearth-elevated path (labels already soft; demote flat hero further if needed) 3. ~~Wire selectable window scenes onto soft smoke rooms~~ (done — overlay + forest/rain presets) 4. Catalog depth (3–5 options per major category)
